About Us

FM Cyber empowers organizations to confidently navigate the increasingly sophisticated landscape of cybersecurity threats through expert guidance forged in frontline experience.

Our founder’s extensive experience forms the core of our methodology. Fidan Mirzad is a leading expert in cyber incident response, ransomware crisis management, cybercrime investigations, and cybersecurity risk and strategy. With a distinguished career spanning both the public and private sectors, Fidan brings unmatched expertise and a tactical approach rooted in real-world threat response.

In leadership roles at Coveware and Beazley—and prior legal and investigative positions at Mullen Coughlin and the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office—Fidan has led the response to over 1,000 cyber incidents saving clients more than $533 million in potential ransomware payments.

As a Cybercrime Investigative Analyst at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and later as a Confidential Investigator at the New York City Department of Investigation, she specialized in unraveling complex cyber-enabled financial fraud and identity theft cases. These experiences, combined with her legal counsel work at Mullen Coughlin, enable her to navigate both the legal and technical dimensions of cyber incidents.

Throughout her career, Fidan has represented clients ranging from Fortune 50 companies to small businesses. Her experience spans a wide range of sectors, including technology and software services, professional services, the public sector, education, healthcare, and financial services.
